Sustainable development goals
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are a global compass to make the world a better place. These 17 goals were compiled by the United Nations in 2015 and serve as a basis for a better future in 2030. The Netherlands participates in these efforts as well.
The SGDs of Ictoria:
No poverty
We support the right of everyone to have the opportunity to work, and assist in their search for a workplace. This way, we prevent unemployment amongst people who for whatever reason have a labour market disadvantage, so that no one falls into poverty through unemployment.
Quality education
At Ictoria, students from vocational education are given ample opportunity for self-development as interns, not only by learning skills, but also by discovering and exploring their interests and talents. In addition, we encourage our employees to pursue studies which can advance their professional careers.
Decent work and economic growth
We support productive employment and decent work for people of any gender or with any physical or mental challenge. Everyone deserves equal pay for work of equal value.
Reduced inequalities
Ictoria supports an inclusive labour market where everyone can contribute to the best of their abilities, regardless of age, disability, race or sexual preference.
Sustainable cities and communities
Ictoria is committed to social inclusiveness, in order to establish and maintain sustainable connections between employees from diverse backgrounds.
Responsible consumption and production
We are committed to the sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources. Therefore, we use sustainable materials in the manufacture of our products.
Partnerships for the goals
We partner with other companies and organisations in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and share our experiences and expertise with them to increase our collective impact.
